That looks like it’s going to be a slug fest. The one that is up in the air is Tombstone vs Tantrum.
#THE BATTLE CATS WIKI MAMMOTH FULL#
Hypershock is continuing to go full beast mode on its opponents and it doesn’t look good for Skorpios lol. It’s a shame, but Glitch still had a fantastic first year for a rookie team and I look forward to seeing them again. They also haven’t had a speedy opponent like WD yet and looks like WD is going to take advantage of that speed. Glitch sadly has too many issues right now with their drive and getting stuck on the floor. WD looks like they are going to dominate Glitch. Endgame is a much tougher opponent than when Ribbot first fought them, and judging by Ribbot’s missing head and seeing them flying… it’s probably not going to go well for them. Really looking forward to this! Looks like my first round predictions are going to be correct. Though to be fair, during the 2020-21 season, it seemed as if WD was not the force to be reckoned with. WOW - THAT CHANGED SUDDENLY: I thought Witch Doctor had End Game's number - I was kinda hoping they'd win against End Game - and it seemed like it after the first hit, although it wasn't meant to be when End Game suddenly turned the tables on Witch Doctor. Maybe they'll be in next year's Golden Bolt Championship though. I could see him wanting his vengeance on Tantrum and that JD that many thought went unfairly. I wonder how things would have unfolded if he was around. WHERE WERE THEY? I know there was some reason they weren't in this tournament, but they should have been - one being Jake Ewert and Hydra. Still though, they need to dial down the flaws the bot has and they can come back really swinging next year. Glitch got lucky during the tournament and probably overachieved to some extent in the 2021-2022 season. IT HAD TO END SOMETIME: Let's be honest here. Full body spinners don't cut it anymore on the Battle Box floor either. And for that matter, I think the same can be said about Marc DeVidts and Icewave, Brian Nave and Captain Shredderator, and John Mladenik and Gigabyte. It basically knocked ITSELF out when going up against Tantrum. The field has caught up with the likes of the King of Kinetic Energy, as shown in the last two seasons. THEY NEED TO DO THE RIGHT THING: As some other people have said, I think Ray Billings needs to retire Tombstone. I do wonder what they'll come up with next year though. Sure it could win some of the time but it could not hold its own against the more formidable bots. I have to admit, those teeth, as viscious as they are, do not cut it inside the Battle Box. THEY DID THE RIGHT THING: Matt Spurk and company are intending to retire Kraken. OK here are my two cents about what happened tonight and in general during this Golden Bolt deal:
